How do I become a United States Citizen?
To become a U.S. Citizen an individual must go through the process of Naturalization. To qualify, such individual must have been lawfully admitted into the United States as a Lawful Permanent Resident, be at least 18 years of age, live in the United States for at least five years and have physical presence of at least 2.5 years, have continuous residence in the U.S. from when the Naturalization application is filed to the date of being sworn in as a U.S. Citizen, and pass the civics and English exams.
Can a company sponsor me for a visa?
Yes! An employer is able to sponsor a foreign national to work and live in the U.S. along with their families. However, you must qualify and be offered the position by such employer.
Will I be deported if my application for Green Card has been denied?
How can I vacation in the United States?
To qualify for a tourist Visa a foreign national must establish that the purpose of the trip is pleasure, and that they intend to return to the country were they have a permanent resident. Furthermore, one must demonstrate their ties to such country in the form of a job, property , or direct family, and the financial capacity to cover the expenses of such trip.
Not necessarily. In many cases you can appeal a denial and see if a different outcome is possible. However, USCIS does have the ability to initiate removal proceedings and transfer your case to the Immigration Judge.
